Norway's fjords part 2 - The secret of the rune tablet
Arriving in Bergen, you first have a day's rest. The next morning you get a message from headquarters that you've been booked on a scientific mission for a week. Where it's going, you would then be told. At 08:00 you are to meet a man named Dr. Ozil in front of the entrance area of Gate 4.
This is a flight adventure of medium difficulty and of course the nature of this country, which is always fascinating for me both in reality and in the simulator, is not neglected.
Specification:
- The mission consists of 7 legs and covers 239 NM.
- You will fly a Cessna Skyhawk G1000 Amphibian, which will be constantly loaded and unloaded and of course you will take off and land on water landing fields.
- The package is multilingual in the languages: English US, Spanish, French, Italian, Polish, Portuguese BR, Russian, Dutch, Finnish, Norwegian and Swedish. The basic language is German. The other languages are machine translated, so there may be errors in the translation. If you have a better translation, please send it to me.
- In between there is an English voice output (TTS).
IMPORTANT: For TTS and loading/fueling to work, go back to the main menu after each landing and then start the next flight. - The GPS is usable but there is no flight route stored. Also there are no usual route descriptions. But the G1000 offers the possibility to enter the next destination airport. Use this kind of navigation.
- ATC is usable.
Known problems:
- The leg does not end at the destination airport.
The first thing to do is to return to the main menu after each leg and then start the next leg. The second problem is the water landing sites. They have only one parking position (apron 0) where you can end the leg. Take a screen shot of the water landing site in question on the world map where you can locate the parking position or use LittleNavmap. - After a crash, I have to start the leg from the beginning.
Since SU11, the simulator no longer saves progress in time intervals, but only after a waypoint has been flown over. To avoid having to start over after a crash landing, empty waypoints are inserted - about 10 NM before the next destination. After a crash, the flight is continued at the last waypoint flown over.
Always safe landings wishes,
Koschi

Koschi
Great mod. Part one was real fun to do and so is part 2.
Untill now, because I can't end the flight in Flam. The plane keeps moving near the jetty. but that seems not good enough. I tried all the places in the marina, but nothing seems the rigjht place. Pushback also doesn't help. Can you please give me the clue where to place the aircraft to end the flight?
Besides this, its real fun to do, so I hope to continue this trip untill part 6. Keep up the good work!

Hello 020wings,
Thank you for the praise :-)
Please look at the landing image in the navlog. There, where the airplane is to be seen, you can terminate the flight.
Unfortunately there are more and more complaints at many bush trips that a leg can not be terminated. This is the case everywhere at the moment and is caused by MSFS. The error cannot be narrowed down at the moment, as it occurs sporadically.
I can only give you the tip to fly the second last leg again. Often it works then again.
Greetings from the German Baltic coast, Koschi
