Pacific Western was a canadian airline based in Richmond, later Calgary. It operated mainly on routes in Western Canada. In the 1980s Pacific Western was the largest airline within its operation territory. In 1987 Pacific Western purchased Canadian Pacific Airlines, in 1989 Wardair went into Pacific Westerns property, forming the Canadian Airlines International. 10 years later the airlines was bought by Air Canada.
Pacific Western operated several different aircrafts including the Douglas DC-6. This livery is based on the Douglas DC-6B with registration CF-PWF.
