| GSX Profile for KBOS Boston Logan International Airport by FlyTampa
This profile includes all gates, remote stands, cargo stands and GA/Private Jet parking
The profile aims to be as close as possible to real life and every parking position features:
- Accurate ground handling and catering companies
- Accurate stop positions (based on the PMDG 737-800 and the Fenix A320, might be inaccurate for other aircraft)
- Accurate custom pushbacks
- Adjusted jetway floor heights
- Custom vehicle placements
- Passengers walking inside the terminal
- Remote deicing pads
Known issues and workarounds:
1. Jetways sometimes do not connect to the aircraft due to a bug in the scenery, if this happens use the default ATC menu to connect the jetway
2. GSX sometimes pick up the nearby seaplane base instead of KBOS which causes ground services to become unavailable and/or cancels your pushback, to fix this add this line to the [GSX] section of the %APPDATA%\Virtuali\CouatlAddons.INI file:
airport_visibility_MA17 = 0
Installation:
Extract the .zip file and move the .ini file to %APPDATA%\Virtuali\GSX\MSFS

Yes, I'm working on an update right now including deicing pads and improved pushbacks! Hopefully I should be done later today or tomorrow 😊

My one question is when flying at KBOS on vatsim, usually depending on stand you sometimes get told to pushback to a certain spot, which can be seen on the ground charts too. Do you have any idea if IRL pushbacks take place to a certain spot and if so are there any plans to implement this?

Hello, I'm glad to hear you like it 😀 Yes that is something I plan on implementing, but at the moment can't make any promises about when that update is coming. Also I might not be able to do it for all the stands since some of them require the tug to pull the aircraft which is a function that is currently not available in GSX.

I don't know what happened, but GSX isn't detecting any parking whatsoever. I purchased this airport on ORBX so it shouldn't be encrypted, and it was working before. Anyone else have this problem?

Hello, two things you can try if you haven't already done it: enable the SU10 Navdata API in the FSDT Installer and add this line to the [GSX] section of the %APPDATA%\Virtuali\CouatlAddons.INI file:
airport_visibility_MA17 = 0

Adding that worked. The jetways don't respond to GSX commands, though they do respond if I use the in game ATC. I imagine this is a problem with the scenery and not GSX.

I am having an issue out of gate B17. It stops doing a pushback, GSX vehicles dissapear. When I go into the GSX menu, it says I am at the MA17 airport, and cant request pushback unless I am at the gate.
This makes me have to restart the simulator, as the nosewheel in the FENIX A320 then won't work.

Hello, I think the problem is that GSX is picking up the the nearby seaplane base, not sure if there is anything I can do about it but I will have a look and see if I can find a workaround. You could also try posting in the FSDT GSX support forum and see if they are able to do something about it.

You should be able to fix it this way: add this line to the [GSX] section of the %APPDATA%\VIRTUALI\CouatlAddons.INI file:

Anyone else not able to get the jetways to dock to the aircraft? I have disabled the GSX jetways, and tried with the Fenix and PMDG and the jetway doesn't move no matter what I do. Everything else seems to be working fine though!

Hello, I noticed this myself while creating the profile and it seems like it's a problem with the scenery itself and not related to GSX or the profile. Sometimes you can work around the problem by connecting the jetway using the PMDG FMC / Fenix EFB or the default ATC system but it doesn't always work. The developer unfortunately does not know how to fix the issue but is looking for a solution

try checking the aircrafts is in the correct stop spot using the markings on the ground. you may be to far back for the aircraft

Anybody else getting the GSX Jetways offset from where they should be? The Jetway is almost into the next gate over and I cannot seem to get it to work at all... Do I need to add this airport to the exclusion list for GSX jetways? Thanks in advance for any help!
