klga-laguardia full airport
This is the full airport. All of the changes made in the updated_taxiway_network are included.
All buildings done except the those in place of the old American Airlines hangars.
This scenery is not an exact replica, but IMO, better than the default and far from being perfect.
Known issues:
The jetway bug. Sometimes jetways are separated into several parts. I researched this on the web and discovered that
other users and scenery packages are having the same problem. This has been reported to Asobo, but don't expect a fix
anytime soon.

I'm looking into a way to fix the double Rikers Island bridge when using RKBRIDGER addon. I am looking into the exclusion rectangle, and will post an update as soon as I find a fix. Also will try to add gate assignments using ADE. For those haing problems unzipping the file, Email me and I can send you a link to get it from my Google drive.

Double Rikers Islaned Bridge when using the RKBRIDGER addon. I tried the exclusion rectangle and it didn't work. I think it will only exclude default scenery objects. Unable to exclude objects from other addons.
I am including two BGL files with this release - one with the Rikers Island Bridge (the default) and one without.
Both files are located here --> klga-laguardia/scenery/klga-laguardia/klga-modelLib.BGL and klga-modelLib.no-RIB
If you want the scenery without the bridge - rename klga-modelLib.BGL to klga-modelLib.RIB and klga-modelLib.no-RIB to
klga-modelLib.BGL.
Issues with RKBRIDGER addon are the bridge is too low and the jetty from my scenery goes thru it.

The parking codes are somewhat working. Some planes are using ramp parking, and parking anywhere.
Maybe missing atc_parking_codes or atc_parking_types line from aircraft.cfg. I may have missed a regional airline code.
I also have AIG installed.

Parking problems resovled by removing AIG.

Fixed atc_parking_codes to work with AIG installed. Their fix for regional airlines code is to use
DALX for Delta, AALX for American and UALX for United. This is easier than trying to keep up with
the codes every time the carriers change.

Do you think you could do something different, please, with the night time window textures? They're extremely bright, and it's such a uniform texture that it really takes what is an otherwise really excellent freeware scenery and makes it really throw me back to the FS9/FSX days when I look at the windows.

The scenery looks great! Do you have an idea why the photogrammetry surrounding the airport (mainly south) ends up flat with this mod and can it be fixed?

I didn't notice the flat area. This is being caused by the apply flatten option. I will release v1.0.48 with flatten disabled. Flatten is needed because of LGA's many elevations and is based on the test radius of the airport. This will probably cause other issues that I don't notice. The buildings just south of the airport is within my minimum test radius of 1700m. Any number lower than this and the project will not build. I may consider making all items outside 1000m into separate scenery items and include them with the main project. If I can get the test radius 1000m or lower I will be able to apply the flatten option and keep the building south of the airport.

I also found a major bump/ terrain shift on runway 22 after landing its right where the runway meets the land, right around the R22 cation marker before reaching the intersection.

I can't reproduce what you have and don't know how to help you. The other user said they are using an older version, but I haven't made any changes to the runway or surface which is what was released by Asobo, Let me know what aircraft you are using and if you have any other addons for LGA. Also see if you can get a screencap for me. I would like to solve this. By addons, this must include any other AFCAD file that that you added before or after installing this scenery. It sounds like you and the other user have something else installed, otherwise I believe other users including myself would have this problem.

Let me know if there's anything I can do to help. I would start looking at any addons with multiple airports in one addon if you have anything like that. I know there's one for lights and another to add more parking spaces to default airports . All addons with multiple airports should give the user an option to remove specific airports from the package.

Just installed and checked out the most recent version. problem I was seeing previously seems to be resolved. I'm going to reactivate the Samscene NY scenery and see if the issue resurfaces. Thanks for your suggestions.

The exclusion rectangle should work if you select library objects. The problem is likely that your scenery is named such that it loads before the RKBridger package. Try creating a small scenery of the exclusion rectangle and name it zz_rkbridger_exclusion, so it loads after his scenery.

This exclusion was resolved a long time ago. I was able to exclude the bridge by renaming my scenery so that it loads after rkbridger's addon. Your option works as well. Thanks for the input.

Not sure you are aware about the package reorder option in the sim. Located at options, genera options, experimental. You can list you scenery how you wan it to load. Nice to have if you forgot before starting the sim.

Great rendition of KLGA but there are lamp posts in the middle of the aircraft parking areas and taxiways. Can you remove them please? Thanks for your contribution and maybe you can do KJFK?

Not sure what parking area you are referring to, send me a pic. Also if you are using the addon the place pole lights at many airports, try disabling it. No go on JFK, too large for me to tackle alone.

I had the same, and it was an incompatibility with the airport lights mod (https://flightsim.to/file/8614/airports-lights).
I removed the file for KLGA from the scenery folder of the lights mod, that removed the lightpost from the parking spaces and taxiways.

Are these addon AI aircraft? I can't fix strange things done by AI aircraft. For instance the long landings and turning off into the grass or water, rotating while holding, even seen AI do a complete tail over where half the plane is under ground. Are you using the AIGround and/or AIFlow addons? If so turn them off. Have seen the bouncing planes with these addons.

after doing a landing on runway 22, my plane did 2 big bounces, and it’s the same thing when starting for take off on runway 13.
I think it’s related to the terrain elevation or something else.

Sorry, I overlooked your reply and keep reading you original request. I just tried takeoffs from all four runways using the C208B and the A320neo, but not able to duplicate the problems you are having. Nor have I heard from any other users that have the same issue. I don't have any addon aircraft that I can try and done these flights without AI enabled. I don't have any other addons for LGA installed. I did modify the altitude from 6.3m to 5.00000002607703, but can't remember why, but probably trying to get things to level out on the 22 end. I also used several polygons with terraforming enabled. As you said, this may have something to do with your issue. I would try using the default LGA to see if you have the same problem. I may try to work the airport with the original elevation.

I just downloaded the current version of the mod and noticed the same issue of a big terrain bump in the middle of RWY 22. Reverted to an older version and the issue is gone. I'm not using PG so maybe that has something to do with it.

I taxied from end to end on 4/22 and didn't notice any terrain bump that would cause issues. There is slight low area where 13/31 and 4/22 cross, but not enough to caused an aircraft to bounce. What version of LGA are you using? What aircraft are you using? What location on the runway is the terrain bump? Can you capture a screenshot? I'm uploading v1.0.46 today to correct the backward runway numbers on the 22 end and changed the airport elevation back to 6.3 meters. I didn't notice any issues with the elevation change. I haven't made any changes to the runway since v1.0.0, other than ILS alignment, which is just the correct latitude, longitude and heading.

Yes empty, no static aircraft. I believe you can add parked planes with FSLTL

Very good scenery of LaGuardia, and it's easy on the frames as well! However, I think SU12 has caused the runway lights to float above the ground. Hopefully that should be an easy fix.

Ok, thanks. I will take a look at that issue. SU12 made changes that caused issues with other scenery. One problem I noticed is the color seems to be slightly tinted green and other minor bugs. I hope they fix the long landing issue and AI turning off runway into grass and/or water.

I can't reproduce the floating lights, but I had already compiled the airport with the new SDK and maybe this corrected the issue. I just uploaded v1.0.44 to correctly position all ILS and glide slopes. Hope you issue is fixed with this update. Let me know if you still have problems with v1.0.44. Also make sure you don't have other addons for the airport installed.

I would like to commend you for including some of the clearest replacement instructions with your update. Not many devs tell you that they have changes the folder name / file structure, and that they need to delete the older version prior to installation of the new updated version.
