Flight model modification version 1.14.5.0:
MSFS 2020 has seven AI airplanes that you can not fly. Therefore I made a flight model mod to "unlock" the asobo-aircraft-generic-airliner-quadengines. By fat chance, this airplane looks like an Airbus A380. At the moment there are FSX conversions of A380 around. The "A380 generic" is no FSX conversion. If you look in the cockpit of A380 generic, there are no instruments. But, hey, it is free and the download is tiny. I admire the love to detail of the Asobo people. Normally you look into the cockpit of an AI airplane, not out of it. What a fine 3D model job they did!
How to fly this A380:
The A380 is a giant bird and has a lot of "real" inertia - as good as MSFS 2020 can simulate it. For take-off I advise 10° or 15° flaps. The A380 does not like to go slow. The idle thrust airspeed is above 250 KIAS. Therefore extend flaps to 10° early for landing. Landing gear you can extend below 270 KIAS. The specification landing speed is 138 KIAS. I think a higher landing speed of 148 KIAS is easier with MSFS 2020. The model has (invisible) spoilers. Use them (normally keyboard key F9) for the last deceleration before touch-down. After touch-down reversers help to slow down the A380.
Engines don't work? A little tipp: Move airplane up in the air with Y. Let airplane fly a little in the air. You should have thrust. Move airplane down to ground with Y. Now engine should work for take-off again.
You find a nice A380 with cockpit INSTRUMENTS by Jacob, mishal321, and barleybobs at https://flightsim.to/file/7265/a380-with-a-working-cockpit
This "cockpit A380" likes to have the A32NX. I installed the stable version of A32NX. This version is "only" 291 MBytes in size and I assume has less functionality and fewer bugs.

Adjust to pilot position.
drag_coef_zero_lift = 0.03 ; 0.0209 ; The zero lift drag polar
This drag_coef_zero_lift results in an (L/D)max of 14.5. I assume the A380 as a large and modern airplane has a real life (L/D)max of 17 or better. But with this relative low (L/D)max the A380 feels "heavier".
cruise_speed = 488 ; 455 ; Knots True (KTAS)
[JET_ENGINE]
thrust_scalar = 1.8 ; 1
Adjust to give cruise_speed at full weight, level flight in 30000 ft.
ui_autonomy = 16 ; -1 ; max duration the aircraft can fly between take-off and landing in (Hrs)
fuel_flow_scalar = 0.2 ; 1 ; Fuel flow scalar
There is a strange bug with fuel. I set two wing tanks for the maximum fuel of 85472 US gal. But the weight display is five tanks with much less content. I assume something is hard-coded. The fuel_flow_scalar parameter is adjusted to give ui_autonomy fly time at 80% LVR.
A lot of 3D models parameter value were wrong. I corrected wing, htail and vtail apex lon and apex vert, dihedral, fuselage, engine and more.
Because some people ask "is it stolen"? I write the Game Content Usage Rules:
'MSFS 2020 © Microsoft Corporation. Airbus A380 generic was created under Microsoft's "Game Content Usage Rules" using assets from MSFS 2020 and it is not endorsed by or affiliated with Microsoft.'
Is now everybody happy?
