The MINIPANEL application makes it possible to have all the information necessary for the flight at all times in front of you, regardless of the devices chosen and the cameras used in the simulator.
The MiniPanel allows a display in windows completely independent of the simulator used (and always displayed in the foreground despite the camera used (Cockpit or External).
It works equally well with MSFS or P3D or FSX.
The application is always present and visible regardless of the views chosen in the simulator (virtual cockpit, exterior, etc.) and the devices used (airplanes, helicopters).
The happy owners of @Track-Ir will certainly be able to appreciate the information always present vis-a-vis the point of view of the pilot, in spite of the displacements of the head ...
Prerequisite: FSUIPC is required (the free version is sufficient)
Documentation (see the documentation supplied with the application)
The MiniPanel application is made up of 2 Modules
“RULE” MODULE
- the 1st module (which is launched as soon as it is opened) is a 'RULE' which only presents the numerical values.
For example COMPASS, coordinates (in Decimals and DMS), Radio Altimeter, wind speed and direction, etc ...
It is possible to add / display on the rule simultaneously the values in French units (on a gray background).
“TTH” MODULE
-the 2nd module can be displayed by clicking on the button "T.T.H."
It represents the TTH sight with all the values selected on the ruler (it is possible to choose the elements to be displayed on the TTH with the check boxes present on the ruler for speed, vertical speed, altitude and radio- altimeter, etc ...
Transparency: Each of the modules allows an optional transparent display, in particular that of the TTH module which allows to play in addition with the general transparency of the TTH as well as (independently) that of the central part of the Artificial Horizon.
Modules locations: Each of the Modules (RULE and TTH) can be moved independently with a particularity for the TTH module for which the “Move” label must be used (which must be clicked to adjust its location on the screen).
- Each of the modules can be positioned on multi-screen configurations (their location on separate screens is memorized for the following uses).
Info: The application can be used in the same way on a remote PC via FSUIPC and WIDEFS and their respective licenses (see their respective doc. On Peter DOWSON's official site: http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html )
Installation: No installation is necessary (just a copy / paste), and the application is always present regardless of the views (virtual cockpit, exterior ...) and the devices used (planes, helicopters)
All you have to do is decompress your folder and run the "MiniPanel.exe" executable. It does not require any specific installation for each device.
The simulator and FSUIPC must be started for the application to run, otherwise it will return an error message)

Didier LAMANT Good Flights to all
Really GREAT WORK, didlam !!! I use it 160% scaled on my separate cockpit screen, very well readable and all working perfect, thank you so much !!!

This is another great tool from Didier.
For those of you guys, who like to to fly helicopters, please as well have a look at another of Didiers' tool called STABILO.

very practical addon but the till and bank indicator is not reliable, it gives false indications. I used this mod for the CH701 which sadly does not have a till and bank indicator and being surprised at the indications of the ball, I tested with several planes equipped with till and bank indicator and both indicators doesn' match at all.
Minipanel can indicate the ball at full right or left while the real aircraft's one is centered.
it is true that with some devices the skid ball does not indicate the correct values. This is due to the way the designer of the device you are using has encoded the till information. Minipanel works with most devices that use 'standard' variables that have offsets standardized by FSUIPC. On the other hand, originally Minipanel was only intended for P3D helicopters. As ASOBO has not yet developed these devices in MSFS, I had to find compromises so that the values returned were as consistent as possible.

this is a brilliant program , game changer for me ,Thank you very pleased

thanks to you. It's a small utility that can be useful (originally I made it for P3D and I just had to make some modifications to adapt it to MSFS). Good flights to you

Excellent work, really love to fly using this - Incredible enhancement to previous version, displayed data change color when reaching critical values what enormously increases readability, VME can be set according to plane's specification and more... Thank you so much, didlam

I am very happy that you were satisfied with these novelties. I also use MiniPanel every day with my helicopters and I also wish you to cross yourselves in flight (my alias is didlam09 and only flies in helicopter H145) Thank you to you

For information, to come soon, the next version (under development) will include the possibility of entering the VNE (Velocity Never Exceed) for the current aircraft. (which will have an effect on the color of the speed rule)...

Does this work with VR?

sincerely: I don't know, but in any case this app was not designed for VR

Really a GREAT panel for me flying mostly helicopters. Installation is really very simple and even when placed on a separate screen it works VERY WELL with me, thank you so much!
Two questions I have:
First of all I would like to thank you for your donation, in particular because you are the first and the only one (even if my 2 applications available on flightsim.to (Minipanel and Stabilo) total more than 1100 downloads)
-with regard to fuel, no this information is not retained because it is too specific to each device (such as the number of tanks, feeds, etc., moreover some designers use proprietary variables which are not standard). However, my goal is to use the minipanel as generically as possible (which works best with all types of devices)
-regarding a scaling factor: no it is not possible. On the other hand if you do not want to project it on the wall you can very well move it to another screen or even use it on another PC with a smaller screen: you just need to use WideFs in addition to FSUIPC. Indeed MiniPanel is completely independent of the PC running MSFS. It is enough for him to receive the information (offsets) transmitted to WideFs by FSUIPC
Thanks to you
Didier

FlightSimulator CPU use: 28.5%
Minipanel CPU use: 12,7%
I don't think that's okay!
yes indeed you have a problem, but it comes from your home because in my case MSFS uses between 26 and 29% of the CPU and MiniPanel between 0.1% and 0.5% without the TTH and between 5.4% and 6.5% with the TTH active

Note for MiniPanel users: versions 2.50 and 2.51 are identical. It was just a mistake on my part when uploading the package to Flightsim.to (I had to post it twice). With my apologies, Didier

MERCI !

Hey .. i love your Tool .. is it possible to change the Size of the HUD ? i wanna have it smaller `?
Thanks to you.
Unfortunately the size of the HUD cannot be changed but if you want it to take up less screen space you can:
1 / make it transparent
2 / Remove certain information such as the Radio Altimeter etc ... (via the check marks of the RULE module)
note: I am preparing a new version v2.0 which will be online from tomorrow (it will allow you, among other things, to find at each start-up the 2 RULE and TTH modules in their last state before the previous release)

This is great! I use nose view with Cessna 152, so this is great addon! Can you edit this more? I would be great, if there is buttons to press: for example auto pilot, HDG and altitude knobs. Asobo´s HUD info is great, but i wont work with nose view (basicly it is cockpit view adjusted to outside to the nose). Flaps position is must have info to your addon, trim position is also. If you cant make workable buttons to your modules, please put just those values there to be read it. Personally, i use ipad and TouchPortal to adjust those values, but it would be great to read those without using 3d cockpit.
edit. This addon eats too much fps. So i had to lower from 5 stars to 3 stars. To bad.
The goal is not to create another panel (it is in the plane) but simply to visualize the information necessary for the flight.
Regarding FPS ... it all depends on your config !!
