Here is a small tool, to help you calculate the take-off and landing performance for the A32NX.
Since Webpro.cz is down, and we are still waiting the SimSmart - A320 Neo Performance Calculator by EasyJetSim Pilot, we don't have much to calculate FLEX temp, so i made this quickly, based on perfcalc.pradz.de, so bugs might be encounter.

Update: SimSmart by EasyJetSim Pilot is now available !

Installation

Unzip archive
(Optional) Make a shortcut of A32NX Performance Tool.exe by right-clicking it and drag the shortcut where you want
Launch A32NX Performance Tool.exe

How To Use

Indicate the take-off airport with ICAO
Fill the Take-Off Weight in Kgs (TOW)
Select the desired runway to take-off
Click "Calculate" button

Simbrief

Click the Simbrief icon and fill in your Pilot ID

Make sure to fill the corrects runways on Simbrief for best experience

IMPORTANT : The best configuration for the calculation is with the A320-214, However, you can choose the Neo version A320-251N but the result are far off from reality.

The runway heading auto-filled is the True Heading (related to True North), the runway course indicated on your charts may be Magnetic Heading (related to Magnetic North). So depending on your location, the course could change a bit, so consider a double-check on that.

Voici un petit outils pour vous aider à calculer les performances de décollage et d'attérissage pour l'A32NX de Fly By Wire.
Depuis Webpro.cz n'est plus en service, et que l'application SimSmart - A320 Neo Performance Calculator par EasyJetSim Pilot n'est pas encore disponible, nous n'avons pas grand chose pour calculer la température FLEX, j'ai donc fait ce petit outils rapidement, basé sur perfcalc.pradz.de

Installation

Dézipper l'archive
(Optionnel) Créer un raccourci de A32NX Performance Tool.exe en pressant click-droit et en déplaçant le raccourci où vous le souhaitez
Lancer A32NX Performance Tool.exe

Utilisation

Indiquer l'aéroport de départ avec le code OACI
Remplir le Poid au Décollage en Kgs (TOW)
Selectionner la piste désirée pour le décollage
Cliquer sur le bouton "Calculate"

Simbrief

Cliquer sur l'icone Simbrief et indiquer votre ID Pilot

Assurez vous d'indiquer les bonnes pistes sur Simbrief pour une meilleure expérience

IMPORTANT : La meilleure configuration pour les calculs est avec l'A30-214, cependant, vous pouvez tout à fait selectionner la version Neo, A320-251N, mais les résultats sont loins de la réalité.

Le cap de piste auto-rempli sur le programme est le cap géographique (vis à vis du nord géographique), le cap de piste indiqué sur vos cartes de navigation, sera certainement le cap magnétique, la différence peu varier selon votre position, assurez vous de vérifier que l'écart ne soit pas trop grand.

For your "but", i explain multiples times why i did not implement trim on my tool,

Also, thanks for the link but you should read the description.

For the THR and EOA, this are defined for each company and airport, so, i'm not sure why picking up info from external tool that know no situational data would be a good idea. If you want to play with those value, consider looking for your company procedure, or read the airport chart for "Noise Abatement Procedure"

The base rule is pretty simple and you don't need tools to get that.

Same for the Trim, read it from the plane itself and not from a website that have no information about weight distribution on your plane.

great tool....I find it amazing and can only salute you for this...however, after using 1.6xx once successfully, it stopped doing the calculations required (V1-3 and Flex)...so, what I did I re-installed 1.5.2 and voila...it works again...whatever the reason...I am happy to use the old version as long as it works (under Win10-SimUpdate9)

Thanks a lot for your review and notation.

Can you tell me which airport fail on you ?

If it's working on 1.5.2, i'm guessing there is something wrong while reading the csv for that specific airport (if one particular), or it's missing.

Also, can you pm me your simbrief ID, if you're willing to, so, if it's not the problem i mentioned above, i can find what went wrong and fix it on next update.

Just wanted to give you a feed back on the latest version (1.6.3): Same problem as before on all the airports I am trying out. However, V.1.5.2 is still working fine. The Metar and Runway information as well as V1,V2,V3 plus Flex is quite amazing. May be one could combine it with the Quick ILS Tool of Hauke Fehr...?!

Again, I would like to express my appreciation for your talent and dedication. Such a tool was needed for long time.

Have you tried to lauch the 1.6.x as an administrator ?

Also, about your idea to 'combine' it with Quick ILS, yeah, why not. I could not really "combine it" but i can display the ILS frequency and course on the landing window.

I plan to let the choice for the usage of APIs or runways.csv in next update, so users encountering issues with CSV as you are, can switch to API (like in 1.5.2)

Hello, I tried this program several day's ago and it runs perfectly, and today when i tried to open it during flight the window never opens, however it appeared in task manager. Give another go when nothing is running and still cannot open, with administrator, any suggestions? thanks.

Ok that's weird. I have a few questions to narrow the issue ;

Are you on Windows 10/11 ?
This happens since 1.6.x only, or 1.5.2 is similiar ? (download available)
When you hover the icon in the taskbar, can you see the preview of the window ?
This happens at launch ? So not after any calculations ?
Can make sure this files/folder are existant :
"./runways.csv"
"./icon.ico"
"./simbrief_20.png"
"./config/"
"./config/simbrief.txt" should contain only one id, if used - if not can be deleted

Hi, many thanks for your support.

I'm running Windows 10 and tried all versions (1.6/1.6.2/1.5.2) all with similar behavior. This time the program runs for a second and disappeared in task manager.

The file was extracted on my desktop in C drive and all files mentioned in the dot point are in the folder except simbrief.text which I believe this should be generated once the program is open.

I've also let my friend tested and it was fine on his system. So this could be my own issue. I'm not an expert on windows, is there a way to check what's happened in the background?

The windows defender deletes the executable for me, it tells me that it is a virus.

I let other people who try to answer, but yes this is a false positive.

This is not my point to make any kind of virus out of this.

For your information, this are made with Python 3.10 compiled with Nuitka, potential import that Win Defender might have seen as intrusive :

os.path - For reading "./config/simbrief.txt"

csv - For reading "./runways.csv"

webbrowser - For opening flightsim link when update available

requests - For requesting METAR API and prefcalc.pradz.de

You're free to run this in VM or other analysis tool to check any activity

Oh I see, well, i guess that is from "csv" since it's the major change from 1.5.2 to 1.6.x.

Didn't found yet something related with Windows Defender, but i'll look futher.

I really love the concept of this. I tested out the website provided in the description which works. But I do have two issues with the app itself:

1) When I press the calculate button and the simbrief button in the perf calculator, the app freezes up and stops responding

2) In the perf page, before it started freezing up, when I pressed calculate, the numbers won't show up. It's like their invincible

Hello,

First, thank you for your review !

Ok so i have few questions to narrow the issue :

- For the no result issue :

Is there some space under the V1/VR/V2 labels ? If not, there is the UI FIX version who gives more space, until i remake a proper display on main page.
This could be a field issue, maybe one of the field is badly inputed, but if you double check on the website, so this could be my fault when developping

- For the freeze, it could be multiple things:

Looping through runways.csv to find your airport, depending on your harddrive, it could be more or less longer, and can cause some freezes
Internet connection ( but i don't think so )
There is less API calls than the previous version, but maybe the METAR have a weird response or something, but i believe this just don't display METAR info

I'll PM you, can you send me your Simbrief ID so i can try and look for what's wrong ?

Also, if not with simbrief, can you send me an example which is crash for you ? (ICAO/TOW etc) or a screenshot before you calculate ?

Hello,

Make sure all the field are filled correcty (not above MTOW, no blank field).

Otherwise, if the result are hidden by the window, you can download the 1.5.2 Win 11 UI FIX version, it's slightly longer so you can see everything.

If everything is correct and still no result, you can do as follow :

Verify that the website (in description) is working and your calculation are correct
Comment your configuration here (ICAO/TOW/RWY/..) and i'll try it out or
Send me a screenshot i'll look around

Love this tool made flights that such easier. This is not a complaint at all but in the next few updates can you add the a330-900 ???? Since the 900 is the only working 330 on the sim it would help. I see you have the a330-200 i just use that and guess at the adjustments.

I'm not responsable for the calculation, as i explain in the description. So, i have no hand on how the calculation is made and what for. The website used for the calculation is linked in the description. You might want to contact them for that kind of implementation.

But i would love to implement the charts table myself, it would be quite a redundant work but, i would have hand on it. But i have stuff to do at the moment so i will focus when i'll be able.

In alternative you can use the original website the tools is based on, link in the description.

Thank you for this utility.

However, using the Beta A320-251N, I find that TOGA being offered much more than I would have expected.

For instance, using the same settings for airport and weight, I am offered FLEX 54 but for the Neo it's nearly always TOGA.

Whilst I don't know for sure, this doesn't seem quite right, but I am happy to be corrected.

There seems to be a bug with the -251N database with the website this utility bases its results. Having flow the -214 IRL for many years, I was astonished to see so low flex temps which should not be correct. Use the -214 instead, thrust rating is the same for both engines (27.000 Max Rating), values should be correct. I’ve already filed a bug report to the web site owner this utility uses for caculation. Maybe you could too ?

To add something, i let you know that, Easyjet Sim Pilot just released SimSmart yesterday, and, claimed to be really close to reality for the A320 Neo, with LEAP engines. So if you are interested for tight to reality values, you might consider he's tool.

Any idea why some airports don't seem to populate the runway information? Ex. LEPA - METAR populates fine, but there's no runway information which has to be manually inserted. Not an issue, mind you (given it's a free tool and all), just wondering out lout what the problem might be.

Yes this is a know issue, the reason is, the api i'm using is not complete it's looks like. I've tried another api in v1.4b, but still not complete so, i will implement a CSV directly an took data directly from it.

Hi Rubsil,

as stated by the author, trim index setting should always be read directly from the trim wheel with T/O CG percentage, main reason being a double check for its correct setting in the after start check as the PM sets the trim wheel manualy reading the loadsheet CG percentage setting. T/O PERF index is just a reminder, there is no auto xcheck done by the aircraft of that value. All other FMS calculations and fuel predictions are done using the CG percentage entered in the INIT page, not the index entered in the T/O PERF page. It does not need to be accurate, just a correct approximation read from the trim wheel.

Another useful thing to add is the trim setting, since the source you use also provides that, so it shouldn't be too had.

Hello,

You're the second person to ask for it, and i'm not sure about displaying the trim setting, for two simple reasons :

You should read the trim setting directly from your plane, i don't know what will be more precise than the plane itself.
The variables used for the calculation are not fidel to reality, they are just approximation, so none of these values is really correct, so, the trim would not be either

But, maybe i would implement it, but for me it's not a priority, and it would be more of a confusion than an help.
