Based on real-life JA5100.
In order to takeover flight inspection from the U.S., Japanese government needed to operate their own flight inspection aircraft. Thus, the Civil Aviation Bureau introduced a DC-3 owned by Bonanza Air Lines. It was Japan's first flight inspection aircraft.
The new flight inspection aircraft was named Chiyoda (ちよだ) and began its work In 1962.
During its service, JA5100's livery was changed 3 times. The livery I made is based on the 1962 version, which was the first livery of it.
Due to the lack of reference materials, words and their fonts don't perfectly match the original aircraft.
