Simogu airstip (AYQM) is located in Papua New Guinea just to the west of the Gema airstrip, It is a grass/dirt strip 510m long with a 7.5% slope at an elevation of 4800' and should only be landed on runway 16 heading South. The elevation in the sim is 200 feet higher than real life because of a MSFS sim limitation.
Landing short is not recommended unless you have a good mechanic on-board.
The strip has been developed to loosely show the airstrip based on drone footage of the location kindly provided by Ryan, the Missionary bush pilot.
A lot of terraforming has been done and custom models used to give a feel for the real world in Papua New Guinea
I have used Windy Things mod for the windsock and my own effects library for smoke and other small details.
The New Zealand Tree Height Fix mod is strongly recommended for flying anywhere in the world to replace the massive trees placed in the sim by default. In PNG the mod is a must unless you like flying through trees everywhere.
Any suggestions for other PNG strips to develop are welcomed
v1.0 1st release
Thanks for the referral to the Tree Height mod, although for bonus points it would be great if you could edit your description to use the correct name of the mod so it's easier to find. It's "New Zealand Tree Height Fix".

"and should only be landed on runway 34 heading North" According to the chart it should be runway 16.
Great work btw

Gonna check this one out, too. One question, though: how do you prevent the smaller tree mod from populating the areas that you removed the trees from (like, on the final, before the runway?)
